We, the Local 8111 Executive are pleased to announce that on Tuesday October 19, 2021 CUPE National issued Local 8111 its charter. This means that all Cabin Crew employed by Canadian North are now represented by a single unified Local and Executive team. This single Unified Local offers the Executive strength in unity and power in a single, mobilizable membership.
It is our pleasure to welcome the Cabin Crew of the New Canadian North as members of Local 8111. Our Local is made up of the Cabin Crew from two Airlines whose pride is derived from the beauty of the arctic and our strength driven from the cold of its nights. Together we work to ensure all persons have a safe, healthy, work environment that were all proud to be apart of.
